One of the main goals of SAHARA Group is the promotion of children rights. In order to do so, SAHARA has created child clubs, which are performing various social services. These clubs are to operate as mainstreamers of child rights protection and promotion as well as mainstreamers of additional educational and awareness programs. In 2009, on the 31st of December, 160 child clubs were effectively functioning. |

- Promote child rights through child clubs mobilization
- Ensure adequate community support as well as donor support to carry out child clubs' programs
- Implement educational and awareness programs (HIV advocacy, protection of the environment)

| Achievements: |
- A total of 72 women have benefited from vocational and life skills trainings
- 87% of those women were successfully placed in a job and are now able to support themselves and their children
- 24 children got sponsors for the provision of their basic education
