Mr. Bhanubhakta Dhakal is the Founding Chairperson of SAHARA Group. Since 1997 he has been actively and continuously involving in promoting the rights of children in Nepal through SAHARA Group. He has the crucial responsibility to build the image and achieve the goal of SAHARA through strong leadership. |
|
Mr. Dhakal was born in Syangja District in 1961. He completed his schooling in local school of Syangja and he obtained his higher education from Pokhara and Kathmandu. He actively involved in every democratic movement since the Student Movement of 1979 to People’s Movement II (2006). He chaired the Public Employee Union for almost eight years before resigning from the public service employment in 2004. He has significantly contributed to forward the Trade Union Movement among the Public Service Employees’ in Nepal. In addition Mr. Dhakal leads Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Memorial Foundation and Suryadatta Dhakal Memorial Foundation as a Chairperson. Like wise he is the member of Safe Motherhood Network and Federation of Democratic NGOs of Nepal. He is fond of listening music and traveling the panoramic places. Renowned Trekking Entrepreneur Mr. Rajendra Bajgain is the Vice Chairperson of SAHARA Group. He was born in 1973 in Masel, Gorkha District and now living in Chandol, Kathmandu. He has significantly contributed to promote the child rights through SAHARA Group. |

His expertise in Human Resource Management and resource mobilization is much useful for the growth of SAHARA. He has a deep sense in international politics. 3. Mr. Sita Ram Kaphle Member |

34 years old Mr. Sita Ram Kaphle is the Executive Committee Member of SAHARA Group. Originally he is from Sindhuli District and now living in Basundhara, Kathmandu. He has been involving in running an established cooperative (Royal Cooperative Limited) as a Managing Director since last 10 years. |

His expertise in cooperative management, Human Resource Management and Resource Planning has much contributed to the growth of SAHARA and cooperative development of Nepal. His track record in cooperative development and micro finance mobilization is the other asset for him as well as for SAHARA. He has a deep sense of generating innovative ideas. 35 years old Mr. Tej Prasad Dhakal is the Chief Executive Coordinator of SAHARA Group. Originally he is from Gorkha District and now living in Kathmandu. He has been involving in overall management of SAHARA Administration and ongoing projects since 2005. |

His expertise in program designing, writing proposals and reports, coordination, facilitation, sound linguistic skills in writing and speaking, computer handling and effective presentation in social development field have much contributed to the growth of SAHARA. His academic achievement in Masters of Education (English Language Teaching) and Masters of Arts (Sociology) is the other asset for him as well as for SAHARA. He has a deep sense of dealing the cross cutting issues appeared in social development/change. Mr. Dhakal has 12 year’s professional experiences in development sector and English language teaching in various social development organizations, schools and colleges as Senior Supervisor, Program Officer, Program/Training Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Teacher and Lecturer.
